What is this product?

This Menstrual Disc AllMatters is a sustainable alternative to single use tampons which plenty of girls use during menstruation. Did you know that it takes 6 months for one tampon to decompose (this timeframe doesn’t include the decomposition of the applicator and the packaging)? For the decomposition of a tampon’s applicator and packaging you need another 400 years! Also, unfortunately, most of the single use tampons are bleached with chlorine which can contaminate them with dioxins and cause cancer, reproductive issues and more so let’s be mindful and invest in sustainable products which are good for our health and planet.

What is this Menstrual Disc made of?

100% medical-grade silicone. BPA, PFAS and latex-free. Comes in an organic cotton bag and its removal is easy like Sunday morning : ) 

Also, this menstrual disc sits underneath your cervix which makes it suitable to use during sex and by women wearing IUDs.

What size is it?

It's a universal size, suitable for women who have given birth and for ladies with heavy periods.

How much does it absorb?

50 ml = 10 tampons.

How long can I use it for?

Up to 12 hours, afterwards you need to empty it in the toilet, rinse it and re-insert it. If your flow is heavier, you can empty it more often, of course. You can use the same disc for up to 10 years which will save you more than 500 euros and spare the environment from more than 4,800 disposable pads and tampons.

How do I insert my Menstrual Disc?

Before you use it for the first time, please sterilise it in boiling water for 3-5 minutes. Afterwards, rinse it with hot water and gentle, natural soap, we recommend our Marseille soapwhich is rich in olive oil. Then you need to fold the disc in two.

NB! For quick and easy insertion, find a comfortable position in which you can relax your muscles. Insert the menstrual disk in your vagina while holding it firmly between the thumb and forefinger. After insertion, place it over the pubic bone and lift the ring towards your navel. Check out the infographic below for more details.

Can I return my menstrual disc if the product doesn't work for me?

Yes, please keep your receipt from us + the email confirmation of your order. You have 3 months from the date of purchase to decide whether the product works for you or not. If you don't feel comfortable with it after 1-2 periods, please email us on vera@greenrevolucia.com with order number, date of the order and а screenshot of it. We will need your bank account details - name, surname of the account holder, bank name and IBAN.
