Special Menstrual Kit

Price: 95.00 лв. 85.00 лв.

Product description

What is this product?

We came up with this Special Menstrual Kit because we wanted you to have a more pleasant, healthier, sustainable and budget-friendly period experience. Combining two of our favourite period products we can offer you a 11% discount if you purchase them in a bundle. No more need for disposable pads, tampons, last minute shop runs and worries.

By the way, did you know that the amount of plastic needed for the manufacturing of 1 disposable pad equals 4 plastic bags and 1 disposable tampon (plus its applicator and packaging) needs 500 years to decompose in landfill?

BUT you do not have to be part of the problem, instead you can be an advocate for positive solutions and opt for more eco & budget-friendly alternatives.

What does this Special Menstrual Kit contain?

1 Menstrual OrganiCup (you can choose the size which suits you best from the drop-down menu) and 1 pair of organic cotton period pants.

How much money will I save in the long run by getting this Special Menstrual Kit?

We will start with the fact that you can use the Menstrual OrganiCup for 10 years and the organic cotton period pants for 5. Now we will compare the amount of money which the average woman spends on period products for 10 years over here in Bulgaria. For your convenience, we will do the calculations in Euros. If the average woman in Bulgaria purchases 1 pack (containing 14 pads) per period, this makes 12 packs per year and 120 for 10 years. If one pack of conventional pads costs 2.55 euros, that makes 306 Euros for 10 years! In comparison to the price of our Special Menstrual Kit it turns out that disposable pads will cost you 262.61 Euros more! Even if you have to get a second pair of organic cotton period pants after 5 years, one pair of organic cotton reusable period pants costs 25.56 Euros so you are still saving 237.05 Euros!

Now we will make the same calculations but for conventional disposable tampons. If the average woman in Bulgaria gets 1 pack of conventional tampons per period (a pack containing 16 tampons), these are 12 packs per year and 120 packs for 10 years. If one pack of conventional tampons costs 2.75 Euros, that makes 330 Euros for 10 years! In comparison to our Exclusive Menstrual 2 in 1 Kit, that is 286.61 Euros more! Even if you have to get a second pair of organic cotton period pants after 5 years, one pair of organic cotton period pants costs 25.56 Euros so you are still saving 261.05 Euros!

How do I insert my Menstrual OrganiCup?

NB! For quick and easy insertion, find a comfortable position in which you can relax your muscles

After you insert the cup, unfold it and check if there is a vacuum formed around it.

What material are the Period Pants made of?

Organic cotton, PUL and a tiny bit of polyester.

What is PUL?

One layer of Polyurethane laminate fabric used to improve the absorbency rate of period pants and to prevent potential leakages.

How does one take good care of their Period Pants?

We recommend rinsing them with cold water and natural soap (we love the Marseille one) before handwashing or machine washing them at no more than 40 degrees, cold wash. Do not tumble-dry, iron or bleach them, fabric softener is also not recommended. Drying takes between 1-2 days depending on the weather temperature, make sure that the pants have gone through a full spin if machine washed to save drying time.

What sizes are the Organic Cotton Period Pants available in?

We have XXS, XS, S, M, L, XL and XXL. Please check the size guide to see which one would be best for you. Sizes are based on your hip line (measure the line of the area below your belly, from bone to bone as shown on the last photo where it says “HIP LINE”. After measuring, refer to the size chart to determine the best size for you based on your hip line.
