What is this product?
This Zero Waste Cleaning Kit contains everything that you need for sparkling clean housekeeping. Moreover, it saves you time (you have everything that you need at home and you don’t need to go shopping for each product separately), excessive packaging and money (the kit is 13% cheaper than purchasing the products separately).
What does this Zero Waste Cleaning Kit contain?
1 Natural Wooden dish brush with a replaceable head, 1 replaceable head, 2 copper sponges, 1 bottle brush, 1 small Luffa sponge, 1 Marseille soap (100g) and one of our cloth bags.
What is the Marseille soap made of? How do I use it?
Sodium Olivate, Sodium Cocoate, Aqua (Water), Sodium Chloride, Sodium Hydroxide. You can use it as a substitute for your dishwashing liquid, wet your dish brush, then rub it on the Marseille soap and you can start the dishwashing : )
The Marseille soap is pretty universal and suitable as a substitute for some more products such as your facial cleanser, laundry detergent, cleaning detergent and more.
What are the brushes and the sponges made of? Are they recyclable?
The Luffa sponge is made of the luffa plant which belongs to the cucumber family, hence it is 100% biodegradable and compostable. The dish brush and its head are made of untreated beechwood and their bristles are made of tampico fibre. The body of the dish brush can be used for many years and its head is completely compostable and biodegradable. The copper sponge is 100% recyclable even after it’s been used for a while, it just needs to be deposited in the designated recycling bin for metal. The bottle brush is made of a combination of untreated beechwood and stainless steel and its bristles are made of tampico fibre. The handle of the brush is compostable and biodegradable, the stainless steel part is recyclable and the bristles are compostable.
What other uses do the brushes and the sponges from the set have?
The Luffa sponge can be used as a substitute for your bath sponge and all surface cleaning sponge. The copper sponge’s main use is for scrubbing pots and pans but this sponge is way more gentle than the regular stainless steel sponges.You can use it for scrubbing aluminum and enamel kitchenware, as well as stainless steel, it won’t scratch or damage them.
ATTENTION! The copper sponge is not suitable for using on teflon or nonstick pans.
