Citrus soy wax candle with lime, basil and mandarin

What is this product?

Sustainably formulated, hand poured soy wax candle with a citrussy scent of lime, basil and mandarin. It also contains extra hints of cedarwood, musk, patchouli, jasmine, sage and orange. Made locally here in Bulgaria.

What ingredients is it made of?

Natural soy wax, essentials oils, different scents and a 100% cotton wick.

The essential oils provide a rich aroma and have a therapeutic effect on your mind and body.

Why did we decide to go for soy wax?

The soy wax is natural, toxic-free and carcinogen-free. Soy wax candles, unlike paraffin ones burn slower and do not pollute the air that we breathe.

How long does this candle burn for?

40 hours.

How big is it?

180 grams.

How should I take care of it?

Store it in a dry and cool place with a temperature lower than 25 degrees °C, away from direct sunlight. Don't leave it burning unattended, once you light it, let the wax melt to the edges of the jar to prevent pooling. Don't let it burn for more than 4 hours at a time. Trim the wick every time after use once the candle has cooled down. Stop using your candle once you have only 0.5 cm of wax left BUT save your jar BECAUSE...

Please send the candle jars as sustainably as possible, use old fabric to wrap them up in and or old newspapers/brochures, avoid using plastic bubble wrap and plastic tape, paper tape works like a charm and we love re-used cardboard boxes!

How does the use of this product help to preserve the environment?

Unlike paraffin which is a chemically bleached by-product of petroleum, soy is a natural, fast-growing crop. Soy wax candles have a pleasant aroma which purifies the air instead of polluting it with toxic substances like benzol and toluene.

Also, candles with a metal wick emit soot in which one can find particles of zinc, lead, formaldehyde and cadmium.

And last but not least, this candle is made locally here in Bulgaria, it comes in a glass jar that you can clean and send us back so that it gets reused like circular economy inspires us to do : )
